1957 26’ Airstream Overlander
"The Gold Lady" is a Mohave Desert gem that belonged to well-known prospector Rita Atkins, or as most knew her "The Gold Lady." This 1957 Airstream has fared well in the dry desert, with good bones and loads of charm! Clean Arizona title. There is a lot of patina on this unit, your standard dents, dings, and scuffs. As we understand it, there was a rattlesnake underneath it that was shot with a shotgun leaving an interesting tattoo. Along the driver's side roof is "tarp burn" from where the aluminum oxidation was rubbed black… This easily polishes off. There is also light hail dimpling. The recent interior "renovations" were not done by us nor do we endorse the work. It was being used for occasional dry camping up until we acquired it, "Better than a tent!" A buyer could tailor it to fit their needs, use it as is, undergo a full restoration, or hire us to do the restoration.
